Water Play Features
Downtown Cary Park has two water play features for cooling down on a hot day. The Sprayground is located on Academy Plaza and the Splash Pad is located in The Nest play area.
The water play features at Downtown Cary Park will be closed for the season beginning September 22.

Sprayground (Academy Plaza) STATUS
The Sprayground closed for the season on September 22, 2024. It will reopen in 2025.
Splash pad (The Nest) STATUS
The Splash Pad closed for the season on September 22, 2024. It will reopen in 2025.
For Your Safety. . .
- No pets, wheeled toys, food, drink, glass containers, gum or candy allowed in the Sprayground or Splash Pad.
- No lifeguard on duty. Use at your own risk.
- Do not drink the Sprayground or Splash Pad water.
- Swimsuits and/or appropriate attire must be worn at all times.
- Swim diapers must be worn by children who are not potty trained.
- No running or rough play.
- No soaps, detergents or shampoos allowed.
- Any person violating rules may be required to leave the Sprayground or Splash Pad area.
