Pimento Cheese Festival Vendor Application
We are excited to welcome vendors back to the Park for the 6th Annual Pimento Cheese Festival. Please read all information below before submitting your application. All applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Application Information
The Town of Cary and Downtown Cary Park are hosting the 6th annual Pimento Cheese Festival on Saturday, April 12, 2025. All savory food vendors must serve at least three dishes with Pimento Cheese in them (two main dishes and an appetizer or side). Sweet vendors are strongly encouraged to have an item, if possible. We will accept 30-40 participants (food truck, cart, or beer/wine vendor) for the event. The fee is $75 for the event. Do not send fees with application; accepted food trucks will receive an invoice for payment. Submitting an application and past participation does not secure a spot in the event. A committee will determine the accepted food trucks to the Pimento Cheese Festival. All applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Late applications will NOT be accepted or considered.
Selection is based on, but not limited to:
- Quality of offerings
- Experience
- Ability to serve thousands of patrons at an outdoors event
- Appearance of overall set-up
- Unique or regional cuisine
- Willingness to support the Low Waste Initiative
Low Waste Initiative Information
The Pimento Cheese Festival encourages food vendors to serve from compostable service ware. This includes all cups, straws, lids, containers, bags, liners, forks, knives, and spoons. Sealed beverages may be sold in recyclable containers such as bottles & cans.
