Weekly Workshop- Art Sampler: Repousse Design
Delve into the art of Repousse Design in this Weekly Workshop where you'll learn to shape and transform metal into unique designs, as well as explore the versatility of this art form!
In this workshop, local artist and art instructor Kim Lomax will walk you through the art of metal tooling, also called Repousse, which is a type of low-relief sculpture. You will create a metal tooling design using visual textures, arranging your elements in a dynamic composition; based on the idea of movement and energy. You will then complete the design by mounting the metal on a matte board and drawing with gel pens.
Note: Participants must be 18+ years old.
Instructor: Kim Lomax
