Toddler Tuesday: Tiny Printmakers
Join Ami Patel of Gallery Box for a hands-on printmaking workshop designed especially for young artists and their caregivers. In this guided class, kids will create a custom tote bag with a variety of stamping materials and fabric-safe inks to stamp and print their designs. Kids will explore different shapes, textures, and patterns using foam stamps, blocks, and ink rollers in a safe, open-ended, and engaging way. All materials are included!
- Downtown Cary Park Registration: Registration opens at 10 a.m. 2 weeks before the program start date.
Notes
Each kid will work on a heavy-duty canvas tote bag with a zippered top, meant for long-lasting, practical, everyday use. As a lead-up to Lazy Daze, this class is a great opportunity for kids to create a personalized tote they can carry around the festival to hold snacks, treasures, and other essentials. The activity also introduces printmaking techniques they may see artists using at the festival, helping them make fun connections between creating art and experiencing it in the community.
