Greenway Discovery Walk on National Trails Day
Join Cary volunteers and staff on National Trails Day, Saturday June 6, 2026 at 9 a.m. for a guided Greenway Discovery Walk along Higgins Greenway as we celebrate Cary’s 100-mile greenway milestone. Starting at Frantz Plaza, this roughly 1.5-mile walk (optional extension to 3.6 miles) features stops highlighting public art and Cary history including Hillcrest Cemetery. Advance registration encouraged.
- Downtown Cary Park Registration: Registration opens at 10 a.m. 2 weeks before the program start date.
