Lotus, Lily Pads, and Frogfruit!
The aquatic plant collection at Downtown Cary Park is both extensive and exciting. Join DCP Horticulturist Patrick McMillan as our stunning lotus flowers reach their peak flowering as we explore the amazing adaptations, human and wildlife connections and structure of the most amazing aquatic display in the Triangle. You will be amazed at the magical nature of these plants and their lore.
- Downtown Cary Park Registration: Registration opens at 10 a.m. 2 weeks before the program start date.
Notes
This class will meet at the Downtown Cary Park Guest Services and will begin from there. Additionally, this class takes place outdoors and includes walking, so participants are encouraged to dress appropriately and bring water.
