Birds and Bloomers
Join Downtown Cary Park Horticulturist, author, and Emmy-award winning naturalist Dr. Patrick McMillan for an in-depth tour of the flowering plants of the Park and the myriads of birds that call the Park and Cary home. Bring your binoculars as we learn to identify birds by sound, sight, and behavior. Our tour will also include information about how to support birds in your own backyard through planting and landscape maintenance.
- Downtown Cary Park Registration: Registration opens at 10 a.m. 2 weeks before the program start date.
Notes
This class will meet at the Downtown Cary Park Guest Services and will begin from there. Additionally, this class takes place outdoors and includes walking, so participants are encouraged to dress appropriately and bring water.
