Cary for the Cup: Carolina Hurricanes Watch Parties at Downtown Cary Park

Downtown Cary Park is bringing the excitement of playoff hockey to the heart of downtown with Cary for the Cup, a series of Carolina Hurricanes watch parties on the Great Lawn.
Community members are invited to gather with friends, family, and fellow fans to cheer on the Hurricanes as games are shown live on the Great Lawn Pavilion’s big screen. Guests are encouraged to wear their Hurricanes gear and bring chairs or blankets for comfortable viewing.
This free community gathering provides an opportunity for residents and visitors to come together, support our hometown team, and enjoy an exciting playoff atmosphere in Downtown Cary Park.

Guest Information
- Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted.
- Outside alcohol is not allowed within Downtown Cary Park.
- Refreshments, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase at The Bark Bar. Alcohol sales will conclude at 9:30 p.m.
- If games go into overtime and past Park closing time of 11 p.m., no alcohol will be allowed to be consumed after 11 p.m. in the Park.
- The Park normally closes at 11 p.m. If needed, the Park will stay open after 11 p.m.
- To help minimize impacts on our neighbors, we will lower the broadcast volume after 11 p.m. if games run long or go into overtime.
- Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
Know Before You Go
- Seating is first-come, first-served.
- Lawn seating setup begins at 5:00 p.m. Chairs and blankets may not be placed earlier.
- Some areas are blanket-only seating. Chairs are not permitted in these areas.
- Once set up, please remain with your items. Unattended items may be relocated to Lost & Found at Guest Services.
- Please keep sidewalks and lawn aisles clear at all times.
- Use marked entrances and exits to access the lawn.
- Do not sit, stand, or place seating in flower beds or landscaped areas.
