Pollinator Pages: ‘The Moth’ by Chris Musina
In honor of Pollinator Week in the Park, join children’s book author Chris Musina for a live reading and book signing of ‘The Moth’!
A wayward moth embarks on a quiet journey in search of the moon. The Moth is a charming, melancholic, Sisyphean, and yet hopeful tale written and illustrated by artist Chris Musina. Chris Musina is a Canadian born, Florida raised, artist/illustrator/writer who has exhibited his paintings and drawings across North America. He has illustrated album covers and t-shirt art for musicians such as Rathbone, C. Albert Blomquist, and DJ Buddyhead, as well as through his own imprint. He has also animated, illustrated and made props for commercials and television — from the quirky Canadian cooking show Food Jammers to multiple HGTV series and brands from Publix to Timberland. This book truly came into form when Jefferson Holt, the force behind Daniel 13 took an interest and brought book designer Dave Wofford of Horse & Buggy Press on board. Come learn about this book that is beautiful for all ages!
