The Future of Black History
“The Brilliance of Resilience” is this year’s Future of Black History Month program theme, celebrating the power, creativity, intellect, and legacy of Black resilience throughout American history. This event brings together community members, students, educators, and leaders for an afternoon of reflection, inspiration, and collective empowerment.

- 1:10 – 1:13 p.m. – Introduction of Keynote Speaker
- 1:13 – 1:43 p.m. – Keynote Address – Dr. Youhuru Williams
- 1:43 – 2:00 p.m. – Q&A with Dr. Williams
- 2:05 – 2:35 p.m. – A Living Testament on The Brilliance of Resilience
- An intimate conversation with Sherita Walton on the challenges, the calling, and the courage to lead.
- 2:35 – 2:45 p.m. – Q&A with Sherita Walton
- 2:47 – 2:50 p.m. – Closing Performance – “Rise Up”
