Cary Players’ Preshow Discussion “Sonia Flew”
Join Cary Players and Downtown Cary Park for a free engaging pre-show conversation about their upcoming performance of Sonia Flew, running May 2–11 at the Cary Arts Center.
Sonia Flew is a play transporting across time and place in which we witness 2 time periods, 2 countries, and 2 mothers trying to keep their children safe from the whims of war. In this preshow conversation, we will address themes of cross-cultural immigration, identity, family influence, secrets, and truths. Psychologist Dr. Sandra Wartski will lead the discussion accompanied by Cindy White, local Cuban American and owner of P2P Travel (a Cuba only travel agency).
While this pre-show conversation is free and open to the public, we kindly ask that you let us know if you plan to attend here so we can better gauge attendance. Tickets are required to attend the performance at the Cary Arts Center, and they are on sale now via Cary Players website.
